The "Tea Party" Not About the Price
of Tea |
| I am really disappointed by the
inability
of liberals
to understand the "big
picture" pertaining to the War in Iraq. I constantly hear
liberals screaming
that the American people were misled and
lied to about WMD in order to falsely
justify the war. When posed the question, is the world better off without
Saddam Hussein in power,
they consistently fall back on their
talking point
that the President was wrong about
WMD. They fail to recognize that Saddam
Hussein was a weapon of mass
destruction, responsible for the
deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
There were multiple reasons to go to war to liberate Iraq and all of the
reasons are equally powerful and
justifiable. The noble goal of the
liberation of Iraq should not be abandoned simply because the intelligence
was flawed. After all, our own American
Revolution was not simply about the unfair taxation of tea was it?
