MTV's Rock the Vote Liberal Rhetoric Just Plain Wrong
During the 2004 presidential election, the poorly informed, historically ignorant and easily swayed youth of America were told of the impending resumption of the draft if George W. Bush were re-elected. The scare tactic employed by liberal strategists was designed to sway young voters into voting Democrat. Included in this group of draft alarmists were members of Punkvoter, MTV’s Rock the Vote, and columnists including Paul Krugman. During this period, the inevitable return of the draft was universally promoted by Bush haters. It has been over one year since George Bush won re-election and amazingly there's still no draft!
